Tonbridge Grammar School Cross Country Teams compete at South East Regional Finals and Knole Run

November was an exciting and challenging month for the Tonbridge Grammar School cross country teams. The U13 and U15 squads competed in the South East Regional Finals, having secured their places back in October.

The U13 team delivered an outstanding performance, finishing 8th overall in a highly competitive field. Their resilience and teamwork were evident as they battled through tough terrain, showcasing incredible stamina and determination.

The U15 team also gave a commendable effort, finishing 15th overall. Despite facing fierce competition, they demonstrated immense grit, dedication and perseverance.

Just a few days later, the U13s took on the challenge of the Annual Knole Run in Sevenoaks, competing against nearly 250 athletes. Eight runners from Tonbridge Grammar School participated, with all racing exceptionally well. Impressively, three students finished in the top 50, a remarkable achievement given the scale and level of competition.

Both events highlighted the hard work and commitment of the cross country teams, who continue to excel and represent Tonbridge Grammar School with pride. Congratulations to all the runners for their fantastic performances!

It [Knole Park] was very hilly but a lovely place to run, we had a lot of fun!
