Year 13 English students visit West End to watch 'A Streetcar Named Desire'

Students looking at a stage in the West End

Year 13 English Students travelled to the West End to watch Tennessee Williams' 'A Streetcar Named Desire'; a play that they are studying as part of their IB Diploma.

It was brought to life by an extraordinary cast starring none other than Oscar nominee and BAFTA award winner Paul Mescal. It was a fantastic opportunity to experience the play in the theatrical environment it was designed for- in which the power of the playwright's work could be felt rather than just studied. Students left the Noel Coward Theatre with a deeper appreciation of the play's social impact.
