The first Round is a 60 minute, 25 multiple choice question challenge aimed at students in years 9 to 11.

The problems on the Intermediate Maths Challenge are designed to make students think and include stimulating problems for both beginners and experienced problem-solvers.

Students had a successful event with all students receiving participation awards and 45 Gold, 63 Silver and 22 Bronze awards.

27 students have also progressed to the Kangaroo follow on round.
