Congratulations to our IB Diploma students on their fantastic results.  Their hard work and dedication have resulted in another year of very strong outcomes; we are immensely proud of them and wish them all the best with their next steps. Key points:  

• The Tonbridge Grammar School average awarded IB point score is 36.7; well above the 2024 UK average score of 34.7 and the 2024 global average score of 30.3 points.   

• 25% of students are celebrating point scores of 40 and above. 

• 33% of students achieved scores of 39 or more which is above the equivalent of 4A* grades at A level. 

• 84% of this year’s Diploma graduates achieved points totals above the equivalent of 3A* at A Level, placing them in the highest echelons of UK academic achievement.   

• 2 students achieved the maximum IB point score of 45.   

• 3 students scored an impressive 44 points.   

• 3 students gained 43 points.   

• 11 students were awarded 42 points.
