Year 12 scientists challenged to create projects addressing UN global goals

The IB Sciences Group Project is an interdisciplinary and collaborative activity in which students from different Science subjects work together on a scientific or technological topic.

The project addresses several of the IB Science Group Aims, including “developing and applying 21st century communication skills in the study of science”; “becoming critically aware, as global citizens, of the ethical implications of using science and technology” and “developing an understanding of the relationships between scientific disciplines”.

Year 12 students worked together on a project based on one or more of the UN global goals.

They created a whole variety of projects from educational games to sustainable city models. We were impressed by their collaboration, creativity and commitment!
