Year 12 CAS students support Jigsaw South East at the Hever Triathlon

30 Year 12 students supported Jigsaw South East at the Hever Triathlon as part of their CAS enrichment.

It was a chilly start, frost on the ground and owls hooting in the trees. As we stood shivering, we were treated to a glorious sunrise which set the tone for an energetic day.

The students were assigned positions within registration. They supported race participants and made sure everything ran smoothly. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all the students but also to the parents and friends who got up at antisocial times to drive the students to a very muddy field for the day.
Mrs Twinam, CAS and Internationalism Coordinator

The students worked incredibly hard with great enthusiasm and commitment, helping to ensure the event ran smoothly and successfully and ensuring the participants had a positive experience. By volunteering with us, you (student) helped to raise just under £600 for Jigsaw South East, which will be a huge support to the charity in the coming months as we continue our support to children and young people coping with the death of a loved one. We are so grateful for your support and really value the time you have donated to support us here at Jigsaw, thank you so much.
