TGS Student Librarian secures a place in prestigious Pupil Library Assistant of the Year Award

I am delighted to be able to share the news that one of our Senior Student Librarians, Ana, has secured a place as a finalist in the prestigious Pupil Library Assistant of the Year Award (read more about the award here).

As a school, we are very proud of the fantastic work done by all of our student librarians and so it is wonderful for Ana to be able to represent the school in this wider celebration. This nationwide competition is open to all UK secondary schools and reaching the finals is a huge achievement.

The final is being held on 25th March at Pearson in London. Mrs Crean and I will have the pleasure of attending the ceremony alongside Ana and her three chosen guests – one of whom is Victoria Hislop, an alumna of TGS and a generous supporter of our library.

We wish all the finalists the very best, but, of course, we will be cheering Ana on most of all!

Mrs Maloney, School Librarian
