Year 12 students visit St Hugh's College, Oxford

Collage of pictures of students visiting Oxford University

On Tuesday we were given the opportunity to visit St Hugh's College, Oxford.

The student ambassadors were very friendly and were more than willing to answer our questions and give us insight into what it's like to be a student at Oxford. We were also given the opportunity to look around the college and I had a great time touring the grounds and exploring the library with my friends.

The highlight of the trip was definitely the Philosophy lecture, which was thought-provoking and very engaging, working as more of a discussion than a lesson, which I think everyone really enjoyed!

Overall, I’d say our trip to Oxford was a really fun and insightful experience; we all appreciated the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the Oxford atmosphere.

Fifi, Year 12

Year 13 students, many of whom had the opportunity to visit St Hugh's last year, recently attended a Mock Oxbridge and Medics Interview Evening . During the evening, students had a chance to be interviewed by staff with many years of experience in preparing students for Oxford, Cambridge and Medical school interviews. After each interview, students were given feedback.
