Mia rows at Bewl Bridge Rowing Club in Tunbridge Wells and recently attended regional trials at London Docklands, finishing first and qualifying for the Junior Interegional Rowing Regatta. 

This huge event, organised by British Rowing, invites only the winning crews from all of the 13 regions of the UK, including Scotland, and Mia represented Thames South East team in a Women’s Junior Double, age 14 (WJ14 2x).

After her time trial race, Mia and her crew mate finished 2nd overall, qualifying for the main A Final Event!

In the afternoon, they rowed in the A Final - and after a close race and showing some grit and determination, the girls finished 3rd in the country, securing a bronze medal!
