Year 13

The TGS Sixth Form experience has been so enriching! What is particularly special is the tight-knit community. Each teacher motivates you to be creative, confident and to do your best. These two very important features create an environment which I look forward to studying in every day.

Why did you choose TGS for Sixth Form?
Having been a student at TGS since Year 7, I grew up seeing the accomplishments of the sixth formers around the school. This was hugely inspiring as I saw the vast variety of opportunities and activities that the Sixth Form offered academically and also in sports and extracurricular activities. Overall, this showed me that the TGS Sixth Form experience would be extremely enjoyable.

What do you think is special about the Sixth Form at TGS?
The TGS Sixth Form experience has been so enriching! What is particularly special is the tight-knit community. Each teacher motivates you to be creative, confident and to do your best. These two very important features create an environment which I look forward to studying in every day.

Describe the TGS Sixth Form in three words:
Enriching, inspiring, lively.

What do you enjoy most about being at TGS?
What I have found most enjoyable about being a student at TGS is the opportunity to explore your interests and develop almost any skill that you would like to. Every teacher and student here is looking to begin a new club, creating a dynamic and vibrant atmosphere to the school.

What does your super curricular programme look like and how does it support your future aspirations?
The super curricular programme has been a true eye-opener and a huge help in applying to university. My experience has mainly consisted of reading books which are relevant to the subject that I hope to study but also in understanding a huge variety of perspectives about a range of issues. Even exploring these subjects which aren’t directly related to my university application has been valuable in gaining a holistic view of the world.

What do you hope to do after TGS?
After I leave TGS, I am very excited to study Law at University. Looking further into the future I also hope to study, work or live abroad, something which the International Baccalaureate has spurred me on to do.
